Suggestions for Workout Video?

Help!  I am trying to add an aerobics video to my workout plan, but don't know which one to try.  I bought (several years ago) one called The Firm.  I'm sure it is good for some people, but I am uncordinated and not a great dancer so I need one that uses repetitive basic steps that I can easily follow.  I just tried doing The Firm and got really frustrated.  I would love any suggestions or feedback good or bad on videos anyone has tried.  I vowed not to waste a...

Week 5

Going to start doing a weekly log that I just add to.  I've been doing an ok job of eating although I haven't been getting on here and logging everything.  I still haven't figured out how to plan and then have it post as done.  Need to work on that.  I've kept up with the treadmill and added crunches last week.  I'm only doing 25, but it feels more like 125!

Day 29

Had a good diet day yesterday.  Didn't get on the treadmill as I had hoped, but getting home at 10:30 after being gone since 7:30 in the morn didn't leave me much of a chance.  Have another game tonight, unless it gets cancelled.  If it gets cancelled, hoping to look up doing some crunches and some other type of activity to add to walking on the treadmill.

Goals for today:  walk on treadmill, 4 bottles of water, stick to diet planned.

Day 28

Well got on the scale and it was the same as last week.  At least I didn't gain I guess.  I'm not surprised, I'm frustrated but I know how it happens.  Having a good start to the week.  Did a really good workout last night and plan to do one later when I get home from the ball game.

Need to get drinking more water.  Only had half a bottle today so far and I know that helps.

Day 27

Well, I seem to be getting good at taking breaks.  I'm back on track today and getting everything put on the books.

Having a good day so far.  Haven't drank any water yet, but getting ready to.  Have weigh in tomorrow so hopefully I will have not gained this time.  Going to get a good "last chance workout" in tonight and stick to my diet so the scale will look somewhat better.

Not such a good period.  Drank too much, ate too much, walked on the treadmill not so much, although I did get a couple of walks in.

Day 22

Busy Busy day.  Didn't get a walk on the treadmill in.  But I did use good self control when it came to the xmas party.  I took a salad and ate that along with a little ham.  Also only had 1 roll instead of 2 as I had planned.

Used pretty good self control when it came to desserts.  There was pretty well almost every cookie and cake available, but only had 1 fudge revel bar.

Goal for Day 23:  Stick to diet, drink 4 bottles of water, try...

Day 21

Had weigh in today and it was just what I expected, gain of 4 lbs.  Going to get back to some other methods, because what I've been doing as of late is not working.  I bought an interesting magazine (which I never do) that was geared towards womens health.  One idea and I'd heard it before was drinking green tea.  I've never been a tea drinker, but I might get with my friend Carolyn and see if she can make a suggestion on one that wouldn't be really strong flavored.

Today was pretty good as far as diet and exercise.  Did another good walk on the treadmill that felt good.

Getting a little frustrated with myself for not having more self control during times.  I worked really hard to get 8 lbs off only to quickly put 4 back on.  I know exactly how just need to work on not letting myself not be accountable.  One of my friends pointed out that the planning seemed good.  I was doing that in the beginning and have gradually ...

Day 19

Well we had another xmas party that had tons of hersheys chocolate and Pizza Hut Pizza.  Didn't do well on using self control.  Took a salad, but didn't eat one bite.

I know the scale will reflect my weeks activities and in reading the weeks blogs I will easily see why.  I slipped back into old ways, but I am going to just acknowledge and move on.

On a positive note, I did manage a walk on the treadmill each day.
