I am trying to fit a family into my new diet plan so I am also somewhat limited in my choices. My daughter does not eat fish, ever, for any reason! My significant other, Tom, doesn't like anything that varies too greatly from the old fashioned, artery-clogging meals that his mother made before she died almost twenty years ago. Between the dead mother menu and seafood bans, I have had to become very creative to avoid constant repetition. I try to look for low calorie recipes listing a food thats will make it past all the constraints that are in place. I am shocked at how many acceptable meals I can make with ground turkey and pork! I am shocked that my family hasn't been able to complain about the "diet dinners". So, tip one, try trolling the low calorie recipe sites. I particularly like Eat Well.
