Getting rid of everything! (Weight as well I hope!)

My exercise has taken a sudden change of direction. For the past 1 week I have been in the UK to clear out my possessions that has been in storage for the past 2 years.  It is unbelievable the stuff we had but did not use....3 dining tables and sets of chairs as one example!

Unfortunately the weather climate in UK is considerably colder thn Hong Kong but I have kept ,y exercising regime going, but just running as don't have any gym facilities. Although I am getting sooo

In the groove

Rocking - over one month gone and still going strong!

Managing to exercise every day and feeling great because of it.  Food cravings have all but disappeared and some how.....not touched any chocolate, biscuits or crisps all that time.

Lost 9 kg in one month but energy and alertness is on the up.  Fingers crossed I am over the worst and now to maintain this lifestyle...just need to be careful of that large elephant fasting approaching - Christmas!

Losing my insulation!

It has felt cold this week...but it is still mid- 20's degree c outside!

5kg lost over two weeks but it is noticeably colder and I have started to get the sniffles.  Not going to use that as an excuse to stop the good work so far, including last nights visit to Outback Steakhouse. In the past it would have been some beers, a steak with chips and then chocolate brownie and ice cream - not this time though!  Some chicken with a salad and some soup...and no desert :-)

A marathon not a sprint

First week gone and all is going well!  Surprised by the lack of craving for big portions of food, which is great.  Been doing some workouts.  Must be starting to work because 2.3 kg reduced this week.

Even managed to go hiking yesterday (trying it as an alternative to cycling) on the Parkview to Stanley trail (link here for info:

Time to stop the cycle!

So, here we are again, embarking on an attempt to lose weight.  Have tried many times before but only on one occasion was there any real downward movement, largely due to taking up cycling as a hobbie, but that soon stopped when moved from UK to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is a fascinating place to live for the past 2 years apart from the fact the food is fantastic, few opportunities to go cycling and work is intense.  On the flip side, weather is great and kids are having a
