I know it has been a while since I have blogged out here but I'm not starting over. I am well into my journey of a much healthier me. At 49 I am in a bikini again and feeling wonderful about it. 60 pounds lighter makes a difference both physically and mentally. I have been using a fit bit daily and I have joined a gym. I have to get use to blogging my progress so be patient with me. I did cardio exercise on Friday and then took the weekend off for rest. It has been a long time since I have been in a weight training program so I am being very cautious; I don't want to hurt myself. I have been really watching my water intake and realized that I just don't consume enough. That is my first hurdle to conquer. Wish me luck.

October 14, 2010: In the beginning, we all think "that will never happen to me" and "I will never have to work at staying in shape". So here I am blogging a new beginning.
