The first week of my diet was spent analyzing portion control and carbs verses protein... it has been an eye opening experience for me. I am going into my second week and it has been a little easier to control portions and I am making better choices concerning purchasing and preparing my food.  I have lost 6 lbs so far, and that is an encouraging number for me.
