too long

I am tawny and I love to snack.  It has been 445 days since my last weigh in, and I'm not surprised to be getting chubby again, although I do think I'm heavier than my scale says.  Really, I think it might be broken.  

So, here I am, time to get back to it.  This place has all the tools to make me accountable, so this is where I should be I suppose.

Another day, another donut... guess I'll have to come up with a new slogan... as I've cut the donuts out of my life entirely. :) I feel good, I guess I just need to be patient while this fat turns to muscle.

time in the kitchen.

it's dangerous to be in there prepping for Turkey dinner. I munched all day. Can't even begin to track my diet today. And I felt heavy all day too, even though this morning's weight was an incredible 155. Awesome. I hope tomorrow that I am able to maintain that 155. I forgot how easy the numbers are to bipass until it comes to any number ending in 0. :) Anywho. Maybe it's a little soon to actually say that, we'll see after dinner tomorrow.

160 pounds. Stuck. Haven't seen movement in my weight in so long I went and bought a new scale. It seems to be stuck as well. I guess I should be happy it's not going up. Ugh. What else can I "cut out" of my life?! I'm not giving up the coffee. That's all I'm sayin'.

stubborn pounds.

Well, I got my treadmill for the house about a week ago, and have used it more days than I haven't. That's good. Unfortunately, my weight has not budged, however, today, in the grocery store, my 12 year old daughter said, "Mom, you look like you are getting skinnier." So, I'm gonna have my dear husband (DH) help me with measurements, maybe I'll see some progress. :)

Wow! I had no idea I skipped out on ya'll ALL summer. Here's the good news, I pretty much stayed at my same weight as when I quit coming here all the time. (+2lbs), so I don't have to start all over from scratch. :) YAY! Today my new treadmill came. That should make it a little easier than fighting for an opportunity to go to the Y. Anyways, I walked for an hour tonight, all kinds of incline! :) I'm happy to have a plan again!

I did pretty good today. It rained all day, so although I had hoped to take a walk around our ever so hilly neighborhood, I ended up skipping it and heading over to the Y for some cardio time. I was planning on the treadmill but there are only three in our gym, and yet there are 8 stationary bikes (?). I don't know why they don't invest more for more my favorites. There are stair machines too, but ugh! I don't know how people do it! Anyways, so I rode the recumbent bike for 25 minutes, and ...

Today has been better as far as cravings go. Maybe my carb/protein/fat combination was successful yesterday. It seems like that would have something to do with it. ? I worked out this morning but it feels like a whole day ago, and although the Y is closed, I think I'd like to turn on the ipod and just dance for a bit. I will be seeing my highschool friends in less than two weeks, and 8 lbs just isn't enough to lose, need to be fit too. I am looking forward to looking at least like I'm TRYI...
