Back in Asia after 2 months in the states. I am living in a apartment without internet. So, I haven't been able to write and track on this site:( But, in about 20 days I will be back up and running. Why do we bake so much junk for the Holidays? I find myself feeding my family chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter cookies, peanut butter fudge, gobs, oreo balls, cheesecake etc. Why? All in the name of Christmas. Who else finds themselves baking way too much to consume in a year; not to mention 1 days time. My grandkids would just eat sweets non-stop and forget about the meals. I have been eating out since arriving in the states. Too many calories for a month. I am off of track. I need to stop eating so many empty calories. I don't want to gain what I lost over the summer. Need some structure back in my life. 1 more month of living on the road. Travling and eating out. Can't wait to get back to normal life.

Today I find myself again eating at a food court with daughter and her mother-in-law. Lets see Pizza, fries, hamburgers, pretzels, and hot dogs, I went to Chick Filet and got chicken noodle soup. Today started off by meeting friends at Cracker barrel for brunch. Ate blueberry pancakes with promise instead of butter. Didn't eat all of them. Then traveled in the car for several hours. Checked into motel went swimming; but not for long until it filled up with small kids. Had dinner at BD"S stir-fried vegetables with chicken. Under 500 calories. Then ended up at a movie

Wow, what a first fun week in the states! I am weighing in and staying at my current weight. Looks like eating out and at daughters house for a week isn't that great for losing weight. Only 1 day off and back on track. Went on a power walk, jog Saturday. Enjoyed it! Today I swam for 45 minutes. Packing up to leave for Tennessee next weekend. 2 Day flight:( lots of eating out and saying good-bye to friend. Leaving the comfort of a swimming pool with 95 degree days. Well, it is not a scheduled rest day; but yesterday I did a really hard workout that caused me to strain my back. Too much weight, or didn't do it properly. Toss and turned all night. But, after a rest day I feel much better. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to at least swim.

Lost another pound! It seems like so little until I realized I could have gained or stayed the same. It seems like so much work and dedication to a good eating plan to have such a little weight loss. But, I am reminded had I not eaten right and exercised what would the scale have told me? So day by day I will push forward!

Today was a great day to wake up to a 1 pound lost. I'm over my plateau.
