Shoulder Recovery

Absent from recording due to work schedule, no excuse, but I’m not an everyday writer...

Third appointment of PT This afternoon; today is the first day I took off my sling after a short night’s sleep and I am going sling free to test my shoulder ROM at work doing my typical clerical duties with modifications.  I get testy from the pain by half way thru the day.

In the last three days I have been sleeping better than I have the last 5 weeks!!!

I have been doing a little planning for a therapy program I will start incorporating with PT a few weeks after re-evaluation...

I have been in severe pain for over a month, I am pending reevaluation on my shoulder ac separation.

So I am preparing for PT or longer immobilization. I am not ready to hear I may need surgery but (everyone around you is a doctor).

• I have been increasing my bedtime but wake up earlier due to mobility limits
• I have been cleaning my meal plan for healing
• I have NOT worked out or been active and taking prescriptions as recommended
