Do Over

Don't they get a "do over' in golf?  Well, I'm taking a "do over".  I thought I was pretty much doing the right thing but since I"ve been stuck for a few weeks... Changes

I'm not sure what's going on with my body but I must be going through some weird changes.  I didn't weigh myself again this week, I knew I'd be up because I went to a party over the weekend and I'm very bloated.. I did get some good diet foods and salad dressing and I'll keep it closer to 1K a day.  Maybe that will help. I still want to get to my ideal weight but I think it'll take longer than I thought and I need to be more careful and honest with my food journal  ...even th...

So Far

I've really been keeping track for a little over 2 weeks.  I've been doing pretty well at getting in some form of exercise every day.  I try to do either Gilad or Wai LanaYoga in the early morning, then something else in the day for at least 30 minutes.  I walk with friends 3 time a week, have dance on Wed. and if I don't do one of those, I use my exercise bike.

Not weighing today

I'm not weighing myself today.  I'm extremely bloated and you women know why.  I'll keep counting calories and exercising and next week I'll have good results.  I thought..(notice I said the word thought)  I did pretty well over the weekend but the calories really racked up.  I can see what changes I need to keep making. Low fat dressing, is one of the first things on the list, and more fruit and veggies.  Changes to make that will affect my life and make me healthy...

I knew I'd be off

So, we had one of our manufacturers come to the office today.  I knew it would be a "bad" easting day.  I did bring back doggie bags from both places I went to eat and was really bad with having donuts but I counted it all anyway, just to see how "bad" of a day it would be. I'll keep track the rest of the week & try to do some extra exercise this week & weekend to make up for it.  One day isn't going to wreck my diet if I get right back on tra...

Learning FitClick

I haven't figured out how some days I burn calories and some days I don't.  Sunday I did lots of houshold chores, hung laundry on the line, cleaned, went outside, washed my car & waxed it.  I even started the day out with a 60 minute brisk walk, but the tracker doesn't show that I burned any calories.  I know I did, but have to figure out this system.

After One Week

I did it.  I kept my food journal for a week.  I kept my calories in line and I lost 3 lbs.  I can't really tell yet, but if I keep it up I know I will soon! I do see that I need to keep things healthier.  I do OK during the week, but the weekend is a little "iffy".  Now, to keep up my exercise and I'll really be on my way.  I'll take a walk tonight!

keeping track

A lot of things coming up in May.  Trade show and dance workshop.  Would really like to be down 5 - 1 0 lbs by then and down at least 15 by our Gala in June. Counting now, which is good.  Walked last night, Yoga this morning & dance tonight. 

Gotta do this, was really uncomfortable after Easter dinner & my knees are really complaining.

So I'm not perfect

So I picked a day that wouldn't be perfect to start... that time of month.  I had a bunch of commitments this weekend & couldn't count.  Monday & Tuesday I didn't count.  Today I counted.  Today I did yoga and tonight I have dance.
