Wishing I could jump ahead a month or two... to start seeing some results. I am at the point where all my clothes are very tight and I so look forward to the feeling of loose pants again :-)
Question for someone... does non-caffeinated tea count towards your daily required water intake?

Just came back from my first Bikram Yoga class... what an incredible experience. couldn't keep up with everything the first 45 minutes, but then fell into the swing of it the sencond 45 minutes (first half of class is more strenuous than the second). Must admit - I really enjoyed it! I'm planning on going tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. so it doesn't eat up my entire morning as today with the 10:00 a.m. class.

Well, I'm getting into the swing with the eating right... which doesn't surprise me... but haven't nail down the exercising... again, doesn't surprise me. Tomorrow AM I'm going to try Bikram Yoga... it's a 90 minute session starting at 8:00 a.m. I really hope I'm motivated by it... it's stretching muscles (which I love the feeling/outcome) and in a hot room 105F (again, love the feeling)... so keeping my fingers crossed!

something interesting... I weighed myself yesterday and was up 2.5 lbs... didn't think much of it and added onto my tracker (need those 10 points daily! lol). This morning, a little curious on how I ended up going up yesterday I decided to weigh my clothes from yesterday - they weighed over 8 lbs (2 warm sweaters)... that's almost 5 lbs heavier than the clothes I had on the previous day. So.. lesson learned, be consistent in the clothes you're wearing when weighing in!

Well... I thought I would create my own nutritional targets rather than talking to the experts and created a meal plan which with the following targets: Carbs - 45%, Protein - 40%, Fat 15%... I've been able to hit the Fat target with a bit of work (i.e. that's more fat than naturally comes with my food choices) but I can't seem to get the balance between Carbs and Proteins down pat - failing daily in meeting those targets lol. If anyone has a suggested meal plan - please let me know the name.....

I now know that I need to limit my post... here's some info that was dropped yesterday... Over the past 14 months I lost 45 lbs and gained 35 lbs - the only good think is that the 45 lbs weight loss took less time than the 35 lbs weight gain... If anyone has any suggestions on how to maintain a weight, I would love to hear from you. It will take me close to 6 months to get back to my ideal weight and then I need to find a way to keep it off. So that means I have 6 months to figure out the magic...

I keep reading how people can't loose weight... my challenge isn't as much not being able to loose weight, but rather keeping it off. What I mean by that, is when I focus on a healthy lifestyle I shed the pounds and the second I stop focusing they come right back. I honest think I haven't been a the same weight for longer than a week or two... and that's usually because of plateau during my weight loss of my weight gain.
Part of the challenge is that I'm an excess...
