This is so true, I am also a mom that does that shopping and find I must look at all the sales, I try and plan my weekly menus around whats in season and on sale. Another great resource for good priced veggies/fruits is going to your farmers markets you'd be floored at the difference in prices compared to the big stores, and even better your helping your community by purchasing local! :) hope this gives you a couple ideas, but I do hear you sometimes it seems like it would be way less expensive to live off chips and cheezies than veggies and fruits :(

I'm with ya!! Why does healthier food have to cost so darn much!! For a healthier America. . they should switch it the other way around!!
