Calories Burned:  8 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Instructions: 

Chewing gum is a fantastic way to not only train your body to consume smaller amounts of snacks, but you can burn up to 11 calories an hour. Most people chew for more than 1 hour at a time, so those can add up. And studies show that when someone chews gum before eating, they consume less because your body associates chewing with eating, making itself think it's already full.
