Elevated Plyometric Pushup

Calories Burned:  578 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Primary Muscles Trained:  Pectorals
Secondary Muscles Trained:  Deltoids, Triceps

Start: Assume a pushup position with your hands on a bench, the higher the bench, the easier the exercise. Your body should form a straight line from ankles to head.

Movement: Bend your elbows and lower your body until your chest nearly touches the bench. Then push up with enough force so your hands leave the bench. Land with your hands on the bench and repeat.
