One-Leg Romanian Deadlift

Calories Burned:  408 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Primary Muscles Trained:  Spinal Erectors
Secondary Muscles Trained:  Gluteus Maximus, Thighs
Start: Put all of your body weight on one leg with your opposite arm reaching out directly in front of you. Stand with a neutral spine.
Movement: Bending at the hip, reach for the ground with the outstretched arm while sticking your hips back, stretching the hamstrings. Go as low as you can while maintaining a neutral spine, pause, and then return to the starting position. Repeat on the opposite leg and arm. Add a dumbbell to your extended arm as you get stronger.
