10 lb Challenge - week of 1/1/2012 updates
If you you are in for the challenge of losing 10 lbs by Jan 31, post your results so far on this post. I'll start a new post for updates each week.
I started at 148.2, and am now at 146.7, so 8.5 from goal. Not as fast as I'd like, but I'm through the holidays, and my focus is back.
How are you all doing?

I am just starting today! I can't believe how much weight I have gained. I would love to join in the 10 pound challenge - it would give me something to focus on!

hey guys! i just stumbled across this post in my first foray into the forums, and i'd love to join. unfortunately i'm at my highest weight ever, and i could really use the extra motivation to stop gaining and start losing. co count me in, if you don't mind. :)

3 days in (I.m aiming for 15-20 lbs) down 2 pounds,
the trick is keeping it going.

That's great, my weight remain the same but honestly I'm grateful I didn't put on weight last week for the holidays. I'm still on vacation and it feels a lot harder than when I was at work.

I just joined today and I would like to join the 10lb challenge. I'm going on a low carb diet and combo of cardio exercises.

10 pounds - we can do it!
Hi everyone! Hope you were able to make it through the day! I am back at work and it was hard - we received a few more gift baskets from clients - that did not make it easy! Trying to keep my goal in mind and was able to walk away! I redid my meals (I started on Sunday)and am eating healthy meals and reasonable portions.
My goal tomorrow is to add the cardio.
I will not weigh myself until next Sunday!

10 lb Challenge
All are welcome in this challenge. Great job to everyone who has posted progress. Keep up the momentum, and just take it one hurdle at a time, whether that's working out instead of watching TV, walking away from a treat basket, or adding some protein to your meals.
We all ultimately have to do it the same way - one day at a time.

I'm 153 down 2 lbs from Monday. Christmas killed me! Of course I had to do the traditional baking. 10 lbs in a month would be fantastic!
