10lbs a Month. Anybody with me?
Hi there,
My name is Cathy. I'm new to this site and love it. Not sure how everything works yet but i'll get there. I see quite a lot of you need motivation and support so do I. Why don't we start a thread and do it together. Post daily tell me how your day is going I'll do the same even when it isn't going so well LOL. I am aiming to lose 10lbs a month and will be weighing in once a week. I've lost 2lbs this week so not too bad. I need "pushing" to start exercising simply don't have the motivation after a hard days work LOL but know I need to. Anybody with me? please post. Best Wishes, Cathy.

sure, but Im a slow losser which is my prob. 2 wks ago broke out of 190's and now my unloving scale only moves between 188.8 and 189.0 so On sunday I put in my mesurments so this is todays wt 189.0 ,chest 42.5, arm 15, waist 40, abdomen 38, hips 45, thigh 23, neck 14.5 (used for bf) and body fat is 35.7
Originaly wanted to be in 170's by end sep (b-day) but will be happy with whatever wt I can loose.

Well done on breaking out of the 190's i'm still there. Looking at your stats you are a little bit ahead of me. Hopefully i'll be there in a couple of weeks. Don't worry about being a slow loser as long as it comes off thats the main thing! My biggest goal is to be in better shape for Christmas so we've got some time yet

Good Day today :-)
Had a good day today. Stayed on track only thing I didn't do was exercise planned to but other things got in the way. Will make sure I do tomorrow. Just got weight I'm down a little more so pleased about that.

Another good day
Had another good day today even exercised even if it was for only 20 minutes LOL. Tired its 10.20 (yawn). Just got weighed 194.5lbs better than the 198lbs I was the other week

Hi Cat90,

My plan was to lose 10lbs in a month too!

I recently gained 15 lbs in 3 months :( I finished college but I'm having a hard time finding a job and I guess the stressed got to me and I gained *pouts*

If I had someone with the same goals then I think I'd be able to do this better. I HAVE to lose weight, I'm getting married next year plus I feel so uncomfortable. Can I join you?

Oh my goodness, I lost 7 pounds in august, Finally got out of the 190 and am stuck fluctuating 190-188 and so forth. I am an emotional eater, i have no issues exercising its the food i consume errrrrrr! It just seems so simple why so difficult but even if u didnt exercise you would still lose weight as long as your food intake was healthy but execrise does increase that loss and makes you stronger. I found the more i exercised i became addicted to the high because of how it made me feel and so therfore i continue. It is not easy to get out of bed at 6 am but its worth it if u do. If i don't get it in then i do it when my husband gets home in the evening and usually its a run i do. Was never a runner but now that i run i would neer give it up Wow the feeling i get!

not a good day
I'm going through some serious sugar withdawals, I have an awful headache and my legs are sore! *pouts* I have a long way to go to improve and I'm feeling very overwhelmed...I just want to cry or scream...or throw something....damn you sugar!

just found this site today, and the push i need to get back on track!! Sucky weekend to start, being thats its a holiday weekend.....cocktail party tonight......plan on eating before I go so to be less tempted, and just found the calories of wine and beer...........sigh........ then tomorrow a Brit Bash with friends and all the beer and scotch eggs, crisps, sausage rolls ect ect ect............ I think I will take some Fresca to that one, I really like it and nice change from water, which i do at least drink alot of.......... going hiking with the dogs in the am, so that will help......... hope I'm not setting myself up to fail, not so worried about tonight, but us Brits like our beer and it will be difficult whilst surrounded by everyone else drinking and noshing tomorrow........ it doesnt bother me at home, but socially........huummm...... anyway i'm in it for the long haul.......... I'd like to lose to 15lbs........... had no clue what Zumba was, and just danced along to a youtube video......... found a class at local Y, so may have to check that out! Have walked today, its so much cooler and beautiful breeze, leaves are gently falling........ I love this time of year, dogs are loving it too! Ok, well wish me luck at the cocktail party........ I'll be thinking of everyone else who is also facing the weight loss battle, and will try to be a good girl! Any support greatly appreciated!

Awww gsd you're making me hungry LOL. Thats my biggest prob the beer I do really well with eating within my range then boom 4-5 beers later and i've blown it (why can't it be calorie free?) really working on cutting down on that. I think now that the weather is changing (not as hot) i'll find it easier. Its so easy to knock back a 'cold one' on a hot summer evening hehe.

Not eaten anything today (as of yet) so i'll try to be really really good. My friends are going downtown to a bluesfest not really my scene and its raining so really not my scene today. Will stay home play with my wii and do some exercise. Have a Good One!!
