2 pounds down...
It's only been 4 days and i lost 2 pounds already, probably water weight but i don't care cuz it's enough to motivate me.

What does everyone do for exercise cuz so far i've only been walking for an hour each day. I don't think it's enough but I used to go jogging around the track with my dog but now there is a sign saying it's a "no dog zone" bylaw or something. I want to jog with Ginger but every where I go that stupid bylaw sign is there, and I don't want to jog on the street...I like attention but that's too much attention for my liking lol.

Good luck everyone,

Well Done Sheena!
Hi Ladies,
Great Work Sheena thats too bad about Ginger (love the name btw) know what you mean about jogging on the street I drive by quite a few people on my way home and always wonder 'how can you do that' with everyone staring at you LOL. Is there no park or anything like that nearby? I have a treadmill but would much rather be outside i'm just to embarrassed to do it LOL maybe when i'm not as heavy.
Hi jk, glad you joined us I would like some kettle bells but they'll have to wait. I have a basic weight set but NEVER use them I am so lazy need to get motivated here. It sounds like its working for you.
I'm on holiday this week and planned to do all sorts of exercise and be really good with my diet but it seems to have gone all to pot
I need to reign myself in and get back on track. Have a great Day!

No Room for a Dog
Nope, I live right between 2 parks and a high school track all of which in walking distance but they just put up those stupid signs! I can understand that people don't want to step in poop or get attacked if a dog is off leash but as embarassing as it is I pick up poop and ALWAYS keep Ginger on a leash. She's a fox terrier X jack russel so she likes her exercise and that's one of the reasons why I wanted her in the first place....there is a small dog park behind the big park but lots of dogs dig so there are holes every where and I've dislocated my knee twice and would prefer not to do it for the third time lol

I'm IN!
I would love to lose another 10lbs. I have lost 35lbs so far and can't break the 180 mark. I got down to 176 last week, but I have had such a craving for carbs and sweets that I put that weight back on. Not sure why I'm crabing so much, but could use a little help.

hello mizsassy
You know what i found that helped me with cravings?...Chocolate Chia Tea! It sounds a little odd but it tastes really good. My fiance said that it tastes like gingerbread cookies to him but I can smell and taste the chocolate...and it doesn't even have chocolate in it! You should try it, or some other tea...peppermint is good too.

you should try this
so you know what i have found to be a good late night snack if i'm really hungry... sliced up apples and bananas dipped in nutella(the chocolate hazelnut spread). the nutella isn't all that bad for you(kinda like peanut butter), and it tastes better than any bowl of ice cream i've ever had. just remember, a little nutella goes a long way.

Thanks!
Thanks for the tip. I do use peppermint. I keep a bowl of them at my desk just in case. I really like tea, but I am not allowed caffeine. Can you tell me if this tea has caffeine in it?

Thanks again!

Things to do
I walk my dog around town, which is small, so I don't get the attention like you may. Also, if I can't get to town because of weather, I work at a hospital and they let the employees use the cardio area for free. I use the elliptical and the bike. I really like the elliptical because I used to jog, but it's really hard on my knees. I also keep a set of weights at my house and I use them on alternate days. You could get a zumba video or find a class near you. I love to do zumba, you'd be surprised to see how many calories you burn doing it. Good Luck!
