Happy Anniversary!!
Hi Midnight,
Happy Anniversary to you both
Wow you are totally organised!! i'm impressed. I find it easier on work days for some reason. I pack my little lunch bag and do much better than when I am at home you'd think it would be the reverse LOL. Its a good idea to only weigh once a week I wish I could stay away from my scale!! i'm addicted. Well got a turkey dinner to cook. Bye for now.

On track for the week so far....
Well I have had a pretty good week so far. I have been in my calorie range and hit both of my workouts for the past two days. The strength training makes me feel great (when I am not sore). I am up to 25 min on my elliptical routine and it feels good as well.

How is everyone else doing?

Drinking
I'd like to be in the -10# group too! Beer's a problem for me. I've been drinking vodka and grapefruit juice and wine, but that adds up fast too.

I've been on the site and dieting for about a month now and I lost about 10lbs last month, and I'd love to keep it going! My motivation is up but my will power to not snack all day (I'm a pastry chef) is waning.

Let's do it together!

Love Beer
Beer is going to be my largest problem. I love beer and beer is all around and gatherings and everyone comes over for a beer. Maybe AA would be better than excercising 6 days a week.

Hahaha!!
You've got me chuckling LOL. I'm a beer lover too and its the ONLY thing that is hindering my progress I can watch my cals all day no problem but when I get home there are a bunch of welders knocking back the buds on my property eek!! (we have a business on our property) naturally i'm going to join them at some point and thats when the cals rack up you're right Sherald it would be easier to join AA than exercise LOL!! but everything in moderation we need to find a happy medium between eating, drinking and exercise
eyelovewoodart, Congrats on the weightloss!! don't give up 10lbs is great DO NOT gain it back!!

I'm BACK!
Geez, been about 100 million years since I last posted on here lol. I fell off the wagon but I didn't hit too hard lol. It's been a crazy couple of weeks for me.

I refuse to weigh myself until the end of the month cause like you Cat I weigh myself every time I'm in the bathroom and if I gained a pound back that seems to dictate how my day goes. But my clothes are a little bit looser so I'll take that as a good sign.

Last Thursday..the 7th i think, I tried on wedding dresses for the first time! That was exciting, the complete opposite of what I thought I wanted turned out to look the best...but I wasn't planning on buying so I didn't, I don't have the money for it right now plus I really wished I was at least 3 dress sizes smaller.

We had to postpone our wedding...so I baked pumpkin pie and ginger snap cookies..and king crab 3 cheese tarts.....yah and I ate some of the cookie dough too...so this long weekend was a bummer...but now I'm excited about our wedding again. Instead of being 7 months away now it's a year and 7 months so I've got extra time to get extra small and now all the venues I love aren't booked....so that's a plus.

I had a job interview (the first one since I graduated from college in last May)...it went really well and I got a call today for another interview at a different facility for tomorrow....so if I get hired Asap then maybe it wasn't neccesary to postpone the wedding...? Oh well, word is out to the family and I'm kinda liking the thought of extra time to lose weight.

Wow crab and cheese tarts
sound amazing! Congrats Sheena on the interview! :) Maybe the postponement will be a blessing in disguise.

I had a good day, workout, work, stayed in my calories, and drank a little at band practice. Why can't I be so well balanced everyday?

To the Wii users: I had a friend say that Wii fit starts and stops so often that she never feels she's really working out. Is this what yall have found? Are you using the Wii fit or is there something else? Right now I just ride my stationary bike in front of the TV and watch movies, would love some variation.

Hoping to do well over the weekend.

Hey Rachel, I don't know what your friend means by starts and stops. I love my wii fit and get a great workout. I love the boxing I'm sweating doing that!! Maybe you should tell her to try a different game I recommend Gold's Gym Cardio Workout the time flies by and it is so much fun. Congrats on having a good day!!

Wii Fit Plus
Hello,

Yah I use the Wii Fit Plus. I also baught My Personal Coach but I don't really like it...maybe I'll give it another try...but just the Wii Fit is good. It's fun and makes you want to keep going. If it's not fun then I usually don't do it so fun is important to me. The one thing that I don't like about the Wii fit is that when you're asked to step on the scale he makes a cringing type of "oooo" when you step on it like you're hurting him. It's funny but it hurt's the feelers...but if you keep it up and do well he doesn't make that noise. Now when I step on it he either says "Ohhh?" or "Great!" it depends on if I fluctuated or lost weight.

Thanks for the good luck Cat. Actually I had another interview today at a different facility...it went....well.....lol. They seemed to really like me but I didn't care for them. Usually in an interview they ask a bunch of questions then at the end they ask me if I have any questions...well, they never asked me what I wanted to know and when I tried to ask questions they didn't really care to answer them. The impression I got was that there is an opening that needs to be filled for on call work and they just want to fill it with someone....they didn't care if I'd fit in or what I wanted in a job...also an answer I did get was that I'd work maybe once a month depending if someone called in sick or used a stat....they also said defenately not full-time and they don't offer it...so I think I'll graciously pass if they offer. Too bad it was about a 15 min drive from my house. The first interview I had was a 40 min drive but would almost definately lead to full time...and it's a union...and I liked her and the receptionist....

Anyway sorry I keep typing novels lol.
