Missing for a week!!
Hi Everyone,
I've been missing for a week and thought i'd have lots to read but you're missing too think i'm in a bit of a 'fall' slump I haven't exercised for two weeks feel like hibernating LOL. Don't know if its the darker nights or what but feel a bit depressed. I should try and force myself to exercise as its a definite mood enhancer how is everyone else doing? hope its better than me.

Getting back on track
Hi Guys!
I've been real sick for the last month, but I finally realized what it was and I'm feeling better! I couldn't exercise and I was getting really down on myself, I also stopped counting calories due to fatigue and being so busy but I'm ready to start again. Luckily (kinda) that I was so sick and tired I didn't have the motivation to eat too much so I haven't weighed myself recently, but I don't think I've gained too much.
I'm with you Cat, the sun is bringing me down! It's dark when I go to work and dark when I get off. We've got to get through this though. The holiday season is upon us and this is the time I usually gain a bunch of weight. Cookies, parties, candy, booze, ham, mashed potatoes all that! We have to do well now so it's not so bad when we binge on the holidays (maybe not the best attitude but better than "binge all the time and on holidays") heehee.
We can do this!

Glad you're feeling better Rachel
Hi Everyone,
Hi Rachel, glad you're feeling better yes we do have to do this now I want to lose a bit more before christmas LOL. I did exercise a few times last week and what a difference it made to my mood. As I said I was feeling down, no energy, no interest, sluggish then I decided to get out of my slump and do something so I went into my gym and played with my wii and now I feel much better just got to keep telling myself when I get home from work that i'll feel much better once i've done it. Think i've gained a couple since Halloween but thats no biggie. Will do better now.

For shits and giggles...
I counted the calories on my Thanksgiving lunch. 1283 calories! HA! That's all but 200 of the calories I'm supposed to be eating in a day, http://www.fitclick.com/img/ga/community/emoticons/emoticon_wink.gif
I'm not too concerned though, there was a gym in the condo complex my family stayed in for a couple days so I've worked out 4 times this week. Balances out (in my head at least).
I hope yall are having a happy, safe, and enjoyable holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!

Yesterday, the day after Thanksgiving, was another month and I have lost 17 pounds this month which puts me at 207 lbs and a total of 190 lbs lost. I still have a long way to go, but I am getting closer.

Wow Carl, Awesome weightloss! Congratulations you are an inspiration to the rest of us
Hi jstbu, don't worry about the 10 LOL. That is something to aspire to not compulsory hehe. I've only managed it once LOL. Glad you have joined us.
Hey Rachel, Well done with the workouts they deifinitely help
I've been slacking in that department once again (rolleyes) trying to keep warm and christmas shopping has taken over LOL.
Well, only down 4lbs for the month but i'll take it over a gain anytime. Keep up the great work guys!!

Great job Cat and Carl!
That's awesome that yall both lost this month! I've stayed the same for about a month and a half, but it is better than gaining, and all my friends say they can see a difference. My measurements contradict them, but if I can just remain the same over the holidays and renew losing after Christmas I'll take it.
Carl, you have done an amazing job! To be able to stick with your diet and exercise for so long is really a great accomplishment! You must feel (and look) like a whole new person. I can't wait until I can see a dramatic change in myself. I've been having a hard time not seeing much improvement and persevering.
Jstbu, don't worry I've only lost 10 lbs in a month once, and in the other 2 or 3 months collectively 4 more. We are here to motivate and gripe together either way.

Hey :)
I'm new to the site, but it's about time I got to grips with my weight. 10lbs a month as a target seems to be an excellent goal. I find it really hard to shift the weight, despite not eating much at all, so I'm going to need all the motivators I can get.
I've got to achieve this mostly through diet - I have ME, so exercise is tricky at the best of times. I'm hoping that as my weight reduces I'll get a little more energy back. We'll see ;)
I'm stubborn and determined - not always good character traits, but hopefully they will be this time ;) I'm aiming to be in a UK 12/14 by the summer, but that seems a loooooong way into the future.

Wow was I gone...
Hi Everyone!!!
I was gone for like a month and a half...oops...well lots has changed, I started a new job and tried to put up with it for but after a month I quit due to too much stress...it was a horrible facility to work....I was also sick for a couple of weeks and then I injured my back catching an elderly lady from falling....but the biggest change is that there is a possiblity that I may be pregnant!...I have a doctor's appointment on Friday so hopefully I'll know by then either that or get a blood test....it's definately not what I had planned but I guess my health matters for two now.
