A Calorie is not a Calorie
I was going through some old postings and found a discussion about this very interesting article on the difference between the calories in different foods.

Agree!
Significant weight loss recently based largely on the logic in this article - and now maintaining on the same premise. The one additional piece of information not covered in this article that I have been told (unsubstantiated) is that consumption of protein actually metabolizes fat, whether it's fat you consume or fat stores in your body. So get enough protein, and you'll see your body fat reduce.
