Accountability
Hello! I am new here. I am 32, female, and needing to lose at least 50 lbs. I am very motivated and ready to go, but would like some support and people to help hold me accountable. Im willing to communicate through email, texts, or this site. Looking for people to send "bad day" messages to in search of motivation, as well as small victory celebrations to. I am absulutly willing to do the same and can be your greatest cheerleader or your motivational coach. (I actually DO coach) Male or female, I dont care.

Im new as well
Hi,
I am new hear as well. Tomorrow is my first day to a healthier life style for me and my family. I know this is overwhelming, sometimes almost feels like I cant do it. But I think we have to constantly tell ourselves that YES we can. I think the best approach is baby steps. By looking at tomorrow it will not be as overwhelming as looking at 6 months in the future. I would enjoy being a "bad day buddy". I am a 37 year old female .... married with one child, and a very busy life. Some on my friends cant understand how busy I am .... and that is what has lead to my excessive weight gain. The quick Wendy's or Burger King or Pizza is just to easy. When did you start on your weigh lose plan?

Not new to the struggle..but new to the site
Hello to both I could sure use a buddy as well throughout this venture. I would gladly be a texting buddy or an email buddy to either of you or both or anyone else. My husband is a personal trainer and a total fitness BUFF and it gets frustrating to hear how easy it should be. If either of you would like to exchange positive email motivations or would like my cell number to exchange texts (I am very busy as well as a 32 year old full time student and mother) please email me at [email protected]. I hope to be able to help and REALLY hope to receive some help throughout this. Best of luck to both of you ladies!

Me, too!
Hi!

I can't be a very personal buddy because I'm pressed for time, but we can keep in touch through this 'friends' thing if you like :) I'm 40, single, female, yoga gal :)

I've gained back the 30 lbs I'd lost. I also put on an extra 20 above that, but that was last years' work getting off! I'd lost the original 30 with a lot of gym stuff then got injured and still ate the same. Oops!

I like weight lifting and yoga. That's basically it. I have a very, very bad back (disabled) and my knees are often a problem, too, so I have to get creative.

I don't do very restrictive diets. I was really successful with the gym + smallish changes in diet, but it took a long time and completely went to pot when I abandoned it.

I'm trying to not minD the long time thing again, as it worked so easily, really. Just patience. I'm also remembering that I get awful fast if I don't track my calories. And apparently, I need a lot of yoga. When I stopped, my metabolism changed drastically.

I'm trying to be smarter about the gym so I can keep doing the things I need and not get injured.

Good luck, y'all! I have tips and thoughts on cravings, what to eat after lifting, lots of things :) A lot is individual, so I don't know how much they help.

Try the chile at Wendy's, for instance. It fills me up for hours, which is unusual for me. I get that and a salad, but not too terribly often because of the sodium, darnit.

I eat a lot of fast food! I eat a lot of raw stuff and grains at home otherwise :) It works!

Hey guys!
I'm a 29 year old female and I'm trying to lose 15 more lbs to get down to 135. I started doing Jenny Craig in October, at 160lbs. In December, I was down to 145. However, I have been cheating a lot these past few weeks and now I am up to 150. I just started working out last week to try and get back on track but the scale isn't budging. Probably because I can't seem to stop snacking on bad foods! Would love some motivation to stay on track!

Yay Girlfriends
I am new on here too.....

I have had issues with my weight since back in the day!!

I am 51. 5 FT 7IN 160LB Mother of two boys, 21and 19 yrs old.....they are both in their own homes.....I am in a long distance relationship, have been for 5yrs
I miss my boys....terribly......I see them they phone ect...life moves on and they find their own paths and loves and so forth...i work 30 hrs a week...I too have a back problem, which hinders my exercise regime.
I have been feeling Fat frumpy and a redundant mother....I have been depressed,I cry a lot these days.

I am convinced that all this sorrow that I am feeling is all down to the fact that ............I AM WHAT I EAT....................I EAT TOO MUCH.....
I EAT THE WRONG THINGS!!!

I have no excuses.............I DO know what to do,what to eat, when to eat it and so forth.............I feel such a failure......

So I got up this morning Saturday at eight o'clock.....Put on my trainers hat scarf, gloves and all the gear and I went for a 40 min
very fast walk up the biggest hill in Birmingham UK (or so it seemed)

I was roasting.............but I felt as if I had taken my first little step,
I have been so very good today, food wise. I also took a quick ten min walk......I feel great...............but am craving a sugar fix....

When I struggle I always say "Devil get behind me"and I keep going for a little longer.....

I am here for anyone who needs a push,a shove a challenge or a gold star.....I am not always run off my feet so feel free to hit on me and use me in any way that may help you & yours.

I feel proud of myself today for taken the step.....the first one is always the hardest...............Hope I can last the night out !

Good luck to you all, we will all get there with the help of each other.

On with the fun E x
