Any tips/suggestions for pain?
So I'm back on the horse again, trying to lose weight and my cardio planner tells me to run for 45 mins! Well I went to my local rec. center and I about died after running 1/3 of a mile. My shins instantly started to hurt and I get lower back pain, as well as cramps in my abs. You have to run 9 laps around our track for a mile. So I wound up running 3 laps, walking 1, running 2 laps, walking 2 laps, running 1 lap, walking 1 lap and then I lost track and I exhausted so I gave up. It took me about 25/30 mins. to do that. I didn't even do strength training. But today I did everything, so I felt better but I'm so sore.
Does anyone have any suggestions on posture or techniques to help get past things like back pain and cramps?

Re hurt
Hey, I dont know if this is what you are supposed to do but usually if i stretch before and after I run that helps alot. Also I sometimes I use a rice bag that I've warmed in the microwave to help sooth away any other soreness. Hope this helps :)

Pain
I haven't heard about the rice. I use to warm up before I worked out but I heard some research saying that you need to warm up with an exercise then stretch. I suppose I just took it too hard but I'm definitely going to try the rice bag. Thanks for the tip.

First Off
Congratulations for getting back on the horse so to speak. That being said - starting with running if you haven't done it in forever in a day (or ever) is just asking for injuries. My suggestion is to start very slowly. 8 days consucutive of walking (briskly) to get the body accustomed to the movement etc. Then you should follow a running program for beginners. My suggestion is to got to
www.runnersworld.com and click on the tab training then beginners (on left hand side). I have been part of this site for years! I am an active runner and know the importance of stretching etc. But first you must learn to walk before you can run. INJURIES will just get you discouraged.
Let us all know how you make out!

lunges & knee pain
So out of shape but I'm trying. When I try to mimic what I see on the DVD I find that my body just doesn't do what the other folks' does. Such as lunges. My knees hurt so much when I try to do those.(not even using wts!) So I stop at the point of pain & do the best I can....now is this going to get better as I slim down & get in better shape? I fear I'm a lost cause but I don't want to give up...yet. Does anyone else have experience with getting back from being terribly out of shape? Does it get better in your joints? I'm not seeing improvement after 4wks of trying. What do you suggest! Are there any exercise to improve the range of motion in my knees? What's the time frame I can expect? Thanks for any suggestions.

loan
In recent years, the auto payday loans pawnshops have been particularly popular. This is due to the fact that they give loans much faster than the traditional banks and other financial institutions. In these institutions, getting a Payday Express can be secured by a car or another vehicle.
