I'm with all of you!
I've had some medical issues that started to pile on the pounds and, of course, my husband loves me unconditionally- for everything I am and am not. Well that just made it so I never got on a danged scale- yeah, bad idea. Now I have WAY too much weight to loose and it's adding to my medical problems.

I've always struggled with my weight but could keep it under control (so to speak) with just "a little extra of me to love" but now it's just not cute anymore.. :P I am tired of being fat, but more than that I'm tired of not feeling healthy, tired of paying out over $200 a month for prescriptions for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, depression.....etc etc etc.

I'm glad I found this site and welcome any friends who can help me get this figured out and who could use a little encouragement themselves.

hang in there
Hi, I think you are being very hard on yourself. You have some pretty big obstacles in your way and I understand about the depression. I think my best advice is to try to eliminate one bad habit at a time. My biggest thing was night time eating... bored, lonely, frustrated, any reason at all! I now track the days I don't eat anything past 7 pm on a small calendar that I keep in my purse. I can see that I am getting somewhere. Change doesn't happen all at once. Pick something and concentrate on that until you have that under control. Also try to go for even a short walk once or twice a day. Getting moving, looking at gardens, people watching... will help you feel better. I would love to hear about one small change you are trying to make. Keep your chin up!

need to find people in the same boat
I am 56kg or 112lb overweight and have no energy. I like to sleep or lie around and watch tv ... or just sleep. I eat when I feel hungry, and I am looking for someone to talk to ... I've just started and I am read to make some new year resolutions.
