Bicycle Accident
Every discussion by or about bicyclists always gets around to this topic. They say if you haven't broken a clavicle yet you haven't been cycling long enough.

This is why we wear helmets. They really do work and unlike your clavicle that will heal just fine, a traumatic brain injury is for life. Even a minor closed head concussion can change your personality.

It is interesting that many people are very concerned about being hit from behind by a motor vehicle. Actually, unless you ride on rural roads after dark, you will most likely get hit by a car that turns into you. To avoid this most common motorist caused crash you need to be as visible as possible. Bright clothes and a riding postion in the wheel track of the passenger side helps a lot.
