Broken Patella
I broke my knee cap. Was doing an hour on the elliptical 6 days a week. What can I do to stay in shape?

Swimming?
Are you allowed to swim? If so that can give you a good workout without stress on your knee. If not, do you have and arms only cardio machines at your gym? We have a couple that I used when I broke my leg a few years back. Good luck

Oh my
and I complain about this arthritis in my knee!!!! It could be worse, huh? Hope you find some type of exercise to keep you going..... Lots of times I'll sit and just do arm exercises--really fast.... up and down arm raises... boxing punches and punching bag punches... good luck

How is it going?
Did you find a cardio workout you can do until your knee is fully healed?
