Curves Diet Targets
Anyone having problems meeting their targets. I find it hard to up the protein and fiber without adding sodium. On the Curves Complete site sodium wasn't a target. After I calculated the sodium totals on that site they were out of "sight".

I'm trying to eliminate more processed foods such as lunch meat by using fresh chicken and turkey strips as a replacement. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Curves Diet Targets
I also have a hard time meeting the protein amounts on Phase 1 and 2. I just can't do the lunchmeats because they have way too much sodium. I have been using Slimfast lo carb protein shakes as well as the Curves protein mix (mostly just with water), and Muscle Milk lite. Jerky, pork rinds add some variety. Lots of times I just don't make it to green, but I keep trying. Phase 3 is easier since the protein amounts are slightly lower.

Cutting Out Lunchmeat
Today I have decided to cut out lunch meat and my sodium levels are lower. Okay with everything else. Thanks for the shake tip.

Unsalted Cottage Cheese
Hi, Marsha-

It's not that easy to find, but I eat unsalted low fat cottage cheese for a protein boost. It's not as yummy as cottage cheese with salt, but you can add stuff to it.

For fiber, my favorites are free veggies. Carrots especially. Also broccoli and asparagus. Sometimes I will eat a whole can of No Salt Added french style green beans. Other free veggie staples are celery stalks and grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes.

Beans are good for fiber too. Just gotta watch the carbs. Not too much gas if I stick to about 1/3 cup or less. Also the high fiber breads, of course or high fiber English muffins. But again, those up the carbs overall as well.

Protein vs Carb
I just switched from high protein to high carb. Not really wanting to, but my lab results show that my kidney/liver results are a little high. It is probably a combination of things---not enough water----I know, I know!! and increased protein. I have decided to back off on some of the extra protein and see if makes a difference. Main reason is that doctor said I might have to go on insulin if my meds were causing my lab results to be high. I REALLY don't want that.
