Totals for Week Four
With 14 of us checking in on Monday 10/11, we are collectively down 12.8 pounds for week four of the challenge. Yay us!

That's a total of 67 pounds for the first four weeks of the challenge.

I was able to drop down 2 more pounds from my last weigh in... Knee is starting to hurt some after runs, so I bought new running shoes and have been icing it for a couple days. The longer runs are making me hungrier though.

Phase 3 Importance
The first time I had great success with Curves Weight Management Plan, was after 3 months of Phase 1, 2, 3, and replay it. Finally, after a Phase 3 of Christmas and New Years (does it get any better than that?) I had an amazing January. Since then I have tried to recreate that 7 pounds loss in 30 days by following the phase 1 and 2 tracking I did, but that didn't seem to do it. Then, after a casual Phase 3 kind of summer followed by our challenge, it happened again! Losing! I think it is Phase 3 that does it.

Seeing all the recent comments, from our challengers going into Phase 3 just makes me sure of it. The problem is less one of will power or laziness or tiredness than Metabolism. And phase 3 is our very own personal Metabolism Tweaker. What a great tool! And a successful Phase 3 (not too much fat or sugar) is hard work, but so worth it! We rock!

New Low!
New low today. Haven't seen this number since Oct '03. Down .5 pounds. Starting Phase 2 as my head is geared for it. Exercise and water also played a key role.
