Our garden
Every year we do the staple items...tomatoes, cucumbers, garlic, oregano and basil and the rest we change to suit our whims. This year the additions were broccoli, eggplant, peppers (both sweet and hot), asparagus (will be ready to harvest next year I think) and unexpectedly, we have a slew of pumpkins (didn't get all the seeds out of the dirt before tilling the soil). Keeping all the critters happy, but not getting many tomatoes or cucumbers this year since we've had such crazy weather.

We also had a terrible time with pests, mainly slugs earlier in the season. Tried little cups of beer around the garden and that worked somewhat, but I found picking them off with chopsticks and dropping them in the beer worked better. Unfortunately, you have to wait until night time until they come out.

Oh yeah, I forgot we planted spinach and parsley this year in pots. I have to plant another batch soon to try and squeeze in another harvest before the cold weather comes.
