Diet on a budget.
Does anyone else have a hard time maintaining a decent diet on a really tight budget. I mean it is so hard to eat right when the cheapest food is some of the worst for you. If anyone has any advice on how to save money at the store and still maintain healthy eating habits I would love to hear about it.

Vegetables/Fruits
Carrots, celery with laughing cow cheese, apples, salads, veg soup, etc. are wonderful for snacking and making a meal of!

Just a couple things....
I, too, have had this issue, but I've found that tuna and eggs are pretty cheap! I'll have tuna salad sandwich (290 calories) and a cup of red grapes or some other piece of fruit.... 325-350 cals all together for dinner or an egg, spinach, and cheese quesadilla (with a whole wheat tortilla or italian flatout bread....245 calories) and I can get out of the store with spending less than 30 dollars for the WEEK! I find myself eating the same things over and over again, but if they're in expensive and doing the trick in shedding the weight, then why not?! Let me know if I can help you any further! : )

Coupons
I have been couponing for more than a year and have been successful. I am able to get the things I need cheap. This weekend I saved about 68% at Walgreens . It is not just a pharmacy. With my savings I am able to buy produce because most produce does not have coupons.

Produce Stands
Purchase your fruit at fruit stands rather than in grocery stores....it's soooooo much cheaper!
