Do you eat back your exercise Calories
Hi, I never eat my fitness calories back. I'm I supposed too? Does'nt that defeat the purpose of doing the exercise, which is to create calorie deficit in order to lose weight. I can understand eating them back to maintain, but not to lose weight. What do you do?

Metabolism is working all the time-
For me at least, the purpose of exercising is not just for burning calories, it is for keeping the metabolism working-and the muscles able to use food fuel. Eventually we all have to eat again. Yes, the purpose is to burn more in a day than you consume, but not a tit-for-tat game-not for me at least. I don't think the site minuses out your workout calories from your targets, does it? I think they tell you how many cals you burn in a workout, b/c there is no way to calculate it on your own, unless you use a machine like a treadmill, elliptical, etc. I believe it is just so you know where you stand.

My Progress
Click on the my progress tab in the workout or diet tracker feature. Shows calories in vs. calories burned. 300 to 500 difference means weight loss. Zero would be to maintain.
