Do you ever eat out of the container?
Caught myself tonight with a spoon and the ice cream container---and to think I always fuss at my hubby for doing that!!!

OMG I found another person that eats ice cream from the container. Its a horrible thing. Thank goodness I don't do it to often but once is way to much. I just get lazy and don't want a bowl because then I don't really know how MUCH I do eat.

Yet another reason
Thank you for this, I can't bring myself to buy ice cream because of the contents, it not worth the trouble it brings in to my diet. So this is a nail in the coffin for buying ice cream. I hope!
Come to think of it, I do sometimes eat ginger snaps out of the box when I don't want to know how much i'm eating. YIKES!

Mostly after my kids have made their ice cream cones...I'll "clean"up the edges a bit, but there was once a time where I'd whole-heartedly dig in. I used to have the same problem with peanut butter, just give me a spoon and the jar and I was happy as a clam. I satisfy the craving with just one taste now, at most 1 tablespoon which is more than enough.

I used to. back in the day :) Now I weigh and portion everything so eating out of the container is a sure fire way to sabotage myself. It is only for portion control reasons, otherwise I am ok with it! LOL :)

catsmew has a point. I wish I didn't have to buy the ice cream but my little granddaughter is like her grandma . She loves her vanilla ice cream with heatlh ice cream sryup. I've tried the little cups but that doesn't work for me
