Don't Like beans
Hello all I'm new to this site thought I would give it a try to help me loose weight. I was looking at some of the menu's and they have alot of meals with beans in them and I'm just not a fan of beans:( or anything that has beans in them. What can I eat instead of the beans? R the beans for protein only and if so can I just have a protein shake instead. Any advice will be greatly helpful. Thank you in advance for your help:)

why beans...
Beans are a popular choice in recipes because they are a good low calorie source of protein and fiber. Both of these are big keys in feeling full and satisfied after a meal. If you don't like beans there are plenty of other ways to get protein and fiber. Are you a vegetarian? If not, then lean meat is a great source of protein. Vegetables and whole grains are excellent sources of fiber.

I was wondering about the beans to. I'm not a fan of them and I have been forcing myself to eat them because it calls for it on the diet. But if i can sub them for something else i would love that I want to enjoy my food not hate that I'm eating it:) Thanks for the info!
