Exercise DVD
I have a DVD from Charlene Prickert who used to have a TV show out of Calgary. On the DVD are Step Aerobics, Low Impact Aerobics and Strenth Routines. Each is 26 minutes long and each is from one of her on air broadcasts. How do I rate these for calories burned and effort involved, etc.

another way
To do it yourself, you can go to www.CaloriesPerHour.com and click on “activity calculator”. In the search box type “calisthenics” (for example) and then click Search. From the list that appears below that, click on the type that you want. Enter your weight and the duration in their boxes, then click on “calculate”. Scroll down a little to see the activity you chose listed with the calories burned.
To add another activity, either click Search again or type in a different activity and then click Search. (There are also alphabetized lists of activities you can access here.) On a seperate line, this program also totals up the calories burned for all the activities you calculate in a session.
Then, with that information, you can create your workout as a cardio exercise in FitClick.
