Exercise Routine Question
Because I'm an "apple-shape" I carry my weight more on top. I am happy that I've lost almost 6 lbs since I started this a month ago, other than I'm losing in my hip area too much and not filling out the back of my jeans (trying to phrase this correctly!) anyway, my cardio is stationery bike, elliptical and some walking, some swimming. I'm doing the beginners ultimate workout that does strength training targeting all major body parts once a week. I do ab work everyday to strengthen my core. I'm wondering how I can maintain this workout/weight loss without losing too much more back there, any ideas? ps I have lower back pain and have found the above cardio to be my only choices at this point. I have lost weight before and had this problem with my body type then too and wonder if it is just the way I carry my weight and cannot really change this.

Booty
Sometimes a weight loss can be a muscle loss. I know from experience. Not enough junk in the trunk is also my issue. I am an apple with no butt, and seem to lose it there first too. The only thing you can do to improve the appearance, and thicken your glutes is booty building. Squats with weight, lunges, and Yoga Booty Ballet. It really burns the tush, not to burn it away but to build it up! Hope that helps!

Good advice!
Cutcarb12 I'm the same apple shape as well, first to gain in the middle and last place I lose it. Flat butt too, but running and squats have helped. Also really going to ease up on bread carbs to help my middle.

I find it amazing how many of us ladies are having this issue, I like your idea of cutting the carbs for our middle, are you doing the 50-25-25 ratiio on your diet or other?
