Extra Skin
I'm not there yet however I was wondering if anyone had tips to decrease the likelihood of having excess skin WHILE loosing the weight. My sister lost over 100lbs and she still has extra skin after 2 years. She worked out all the time and the weight loss was gradual. I just wanted to know, is there anything I can do while I'm loosing the weight to help prevent excess skin when I reach my goal?

Thanks!

Some things to try
You should try rubbing vitamin E oil on your stomach, chest, arms, and thighs after every bath or shower. The vitamin E will help increase the elasticity of your skin. You can find the oil in most pharmacies in the vitamin and supplement areas.

You'll still have extra skin if you're losing a lot of weight. But this will help it be at least a little less.

Also using coco butter on a regular basis will help.

I gained 80 lbs with my first child, used viatim e tons of stretch marks and saggy skin...2nd kid 60 pounds used shea butter, worse marks and skin, 3rd kid....55 lbs more marks, more skin....hello tummy tuck!

I think the gist is if its going to happen it will some peopl have great skin some dont. Being healthy is the most important. I lost all my weight each time. I am healthy and happy. Start with becoming healthy then worry about the skin.

You may also try laser treatment for the lose skin...accent lasers lift saggy skin....so I hear.

Extra skin can be a difficult issue to deal with. Jet plasma treatment is a great option for those looking to reduce the appearance of extra skin. It is a non-invasive procedure that can help to tighten and tone the skin, resulting in a more youthful appearance. It is important to consult with a qualified professional to ensure that this is the right treatment for you.
