Finally Seeing Some Results
I have been actively working out since November, but in January really got even more intense with it. Upping my cardio routine and began including strength training. I have in the last 2 months worked even harder than previous on my nutrition. At the suggestion of a wonderful friend who is a firefighter/emt who also trains for firefighter combat challenge I began logging my workouts better and diet which led me to this site. His wife is my workout partner and she is trying to lose as well. I have thrown the scale away in my house as I was getting too frustrated and was tempted to step on it everyday.

Well this morning I took my measurements for the first time in 2 mons. And i found my notes from January. I have lost 3 inches alone from my hips. I have lost over an inch from my waist and some in other areas. I was getting frustrated as I wasn't seeing results. Had tried on pants in a store and wasn't able to buy a different size. I am so energized and can't wait to hit the gym today with my workout partner. We haven't been able to go together the last several days so will be good today. Today is a strength day and it's the lower body I'm doing and it usually is not my favorite and I really have to set my mind to it to get it done. Today after seeing the results on my hips, I'm actually looking forward to lower body strength training!!!
