Forced bed rest ... the return of Emotional eating---
I found out due to an illness- I am on a modified bed rest for at least a week and I have to break from my enjoyable excersize routine. - I discovered that when I excersize I can put my emotions in check and lower my stress---
I have been pretty bummed and have struggled with my food intake since I found out. Does any one have some suggestions for other options to reduce stress and crub the emotional eating while I am laid up?

Watching tv
All I can tell you is NOT to watch those tv programs that involve cooking foods---food tv is a killer for me. Those programs make me sooooo hungry. Hope you get well soon!!!

Different workout?
I'm not sure what kind of illness you have but is there anyway you could do some workout while still in bed? Maybe crunches or some basic Pilates.

Thanks for the ideas
I have plorisy... this is an inflamation around the lungs. so breathing can be a bit painful if I do too much. I'm on anti- inflamatories and have times where I don't hurt. I am slowly feeling better. I'll have to try doing some crunches or pilates or yoga.

I will absolutley stay away from watching cooking shows!
Thanks for the ideas!
