HELP
Need to lose over 100. To Maintain current weight I take in 3800 calories.2 weeks ago I started very low carb fit click plan. I have followed it without any slip ups for 2 weeks. I have been at around 2200 calories. I drink 150 oz water a day. Week one I lost 7. Week 2 one. Thought it would be falling off at that rate. Questions? Is this my body saying what the heck? And holding on because I'm too low? Should I continue or add calories? Are my expectations too high? I'm having a pretty easy time following it and would like to continue, but need to watch out for being discouraged

Don't give up
I too didn't lose what I wanted in the second week. Instead of being discouraged I got motivated. Keep up the good work and we'll both see what next week brings.

Try Not to Be Discouraged
Even if you don't lose weight on any given week, not gaining is also success. You will lose the weight if you stick with your plan. Good luck.

Too much Water
You are drinking tons of water. That's good at first to flush out your body, then you want to taper back to 5-6 20oz bottles a day. If you take in too much water your body will retain it. Also look closely at the food you are eating. Is it processed or home made with fresh ingredients? Always try to go with fresh ingredients over processed or canned goods. Look at the carbs you do eat. Are they Whole grain, or gluten free? Anything with Glucose and Enriched flour will spike your bodies insulin production. Rule 1, I have learned is limit my meals where I have a carb and protein in the same meal. Cause this overloads the production of insulin and the excess of what my body does not use goes directly into my blood stream and creates fat cells to store. These are some suggestions. Keep up the good work sticking to your diet though. That's the biggest hurdle to take. I'm curious how your third week is going.

Don't stop believing!
Do not get discouraged. Weight fluctuates and just because it only says one pound this week does not mean more won't drop off in the upcoming weeks. That is why I TRY not to weigh myself more than once or twice a month (it's hard though!)
I've learned a few things during my weight loss journey. You didn't say if you are working out, but you will get discouraged quickly if you weigh in too often, while working out because your fat turns to muscle and heavy muscle makes the scale go up or stay the same when your body is actually slimming down.
Also when you first start your diet you will always lose the most weight in the first few days-weeks. Then the weight loss will taper off to a normal 1-2 pounds a week (which is actually the healthiest way to lose weight). Also the larger you are, the more weight you will lose at the beginning (which is great).
Make sure that when you are starting, you are as close to your calorie limit as you can be. It might be tempting to eat 500-1000 less calories than your limit to lose more weight quicker but that's the easiest way to hit a plateau. You want to follow your limits and gradually reduce the calorie count as you lose weight.
If you use the tracker on this site, you'll notice each time you weigh in and update your results your calorie limit reduces a bit. Do not cut out too many calories before it's time to or your body will lose what it can in the first week or so and then just stall from that point out. Then you'll have to start back over or do some kind of a jumpstart.
I wonder if your calorie limit might be too low. Did fitclick assign you 2200 calories/day or was that your own choice? Seems odd for you to net -1600 cals/day. OF course, if fitclick assigned you those calories when you set up your profile, then stick with that because they know what they are talking about.
Lastly, remember long term weight loss takes time. If you lose 1-2 pounds a week, you will have lost 48-96 pounds/yr. Do not get discouraged, stick with it and the weight will have no where to go but OFF, Allcare! Don't stop believing you can do it!
I see this thread is over a month old, so how are things going for you now? Hopefully well!
