Hang in there
If you're weight training then you are building muscle, which weighs more than fat, so don't stress about the number on the scale. You should be starting to notice your clothes are fitting more loosely. Did you take your measurements before you started? If not, do so now. If you are eating no more than your daily requirements and working out, then the weight will come off. Just hang in there!

When building muscle you retain fluids within those muscles.
Which is why you may weigh heavier. It's the lactic acid, so they are swollen. For me it lasts a day. I don't weigh myself after weights because of this, especially if I am sore. Drink, drink, drink water. Now the more muscle you build and the stronger you get the more fat your body will burn. I had to have surgery and would not be able to exercise for 6 weeks. this was something I was told by nutritionist/personal trainer. So I upped my weighlifting. I hit it hard about two months before surgery. I did NOT gain a lb. Weightlifting is so good for you. Keep it up!

One more thing...
It is common for exercisers to lose fat and gain muscle without a change in body weight so its understandable the feelings of frustration. This is just the beginning. One common myth is muscle weighs more than fat, but a lb of muscle is the same as a lb of fat. The difference being density. Fat taking up more volume. A lb is a lb. You just started it sounds like so your body is adjusting and your muscles are holding onto the fluids for now. Just flush your system, drink water, eat good calories, good protein and keep exercising.

Muscle does not weigh more than fat!
ONe pound of muscle = one pound of fat. One pound is one pound.

Eating Enough Calories
Make sure you are eating enough calories for all the exercise you are doing. If you don't your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose weight.

Muscle and fat weigh the same, but muscle is denser and takes up less room than fat.

If you're blasting fat and building lean muscle you inches will go down.

good advice
I agree with 1144! Not getting enough calories when dieting is a common problem. Many people (including myself) have fallen into that trap. Finding the right balance of food and exercise is a challenge but really necessary.

Yes muscle does weight more
Put 6 oz piece lean beef on a scale then put the same amount of fat from the trimmings see what pile is bigger.
