Halloween cancelled here
Most NJ towns gave up on Halloween this year due to all the downed trees and what not. Kind of stinks for the kids, they missed Halloween at school two years in a row since we had a snow storm on Halloween last year. Some towns allowed postponed trick or treating, or people went out when they wanted to, but we didn't get anyone by our house...so now I have 3 bags of candy to get rid of. Fortunately, it's not candy I crave a lot, so I've only had one little treat bag of swedish fish so far. Thinking of donating it to the Sandy victims down the shore. I'm sure they can use whatever they can get. Maybe I'll set up a collection bin at work.
