Has anyone heard of Intuitive eating?
I just ran across this on YouTube, a lady named Megan was talking about it post journey with calorie counting, as best I understand it you eat when you are hungry and not any other time. So this requires that learn to listen to your body and work with it to give your body what it needs when it needs it. In the beginning most people pig-out all the things they have been withholding because of specific diet plan or goal. Another rule is that your not allowed to punish yourself for any indulgences because over time the draw to eat what we previously considered out of bound foods are allowed, as little or as much as we want as often as we want, won't drive because we allowed it and were satisfied and you can't eat it if you can't stress about eating it, because the body won't derive, comfort, nutrients or anything else if we don't eat in peace. Well yada yada , check it out another source is 180 degreehealth.com, It will turn you on your head about previous ideas about eating.

Sorry
I'll do some editing to the previous post on intuitive eating what I meant to say was that if you can't eat what is thought of as a no-no food for the comfort factor and not stress out then you should not eat it because you'll not get anything healthy from eating it whether it's comfort, or nutrients. Let me know what you all think, I like it because it allows me to do what I have come to belive is the way I want to go. that is working with my bodies own natural inclination to keep me healthy, I still don't hold with idea of eating anything I want as often as I want or as much junk as I want. I do like the idea of eating in peace and learning to hear what my body is telling me, I have learned how to tell when I'm thirsty and becoming sleepy so what next for me to learn. Check out what they saying about eating things like simple carbs and Ice cream at night!
