Here's a question for you---
Weight loss = lower caloric intake and higher exercise exertion... My question concerns the lower caloric intake. If you lower your intake then how do you meet the nutritional targets this site sets up for you??? Is it a give or take situation?

good question!
Since I changed the way I'm eating, I've had trouble meeting my daily requirements almost every day. I feel full at the end of each day but my food tracker will say otherwise. I don't want to lose weight in an unhealthy way :/

Make sure to whole (real) foods that are high in nutritional value. When I eat high quality fresh food, I have no problem getting all the nutrients. Also make sure calories are not too low... your deficit shouldn't be greater than 20% of your daily burn.

Wendy--what foods do you eat that are real foods high in nutrition?
I know whole wheats, etc-- but need other suggestions. I eat fresh fruits and veggies that I love but I still wouldn't meet my caloric total fitclick chooses for me....

Caloric Intake
I eat three well balanced meals every day, I also have an evening snack everyday - most days I meet the protein requirement but I rarely reach 800 - 900 calories. I am not hungry; although my doctor wants me to have at least 1000 per day but she would be happier with 1200! I don't want to over stuff myself; that's what got me here in the first place. Any suggestions?

Adding some high quality fat to your well balanced meals can get your calories closer to the goal AND help your metabolism. Try adding coconut oil, nuts, flax, avocado to your usual menus.
