I hate this-about losing weight...
Hey guys, having an issue with loose skin, all the sudden I notice it everywhere! I never had this happen before when losing weight. I have lost 22 lbs in 4 months, I didn't think it was fast, but I suppose it's b/c I am over 40 and have yoyo'ed for many years. What should I do while working on losing to get to my goal weight? I do free weights, but I even am getting a saggy chin where my double chin USED to be. I feel embarassed. I will never get surgery, but will it ever tighten back up?

I think Donna's right
After awhile it just doesn't stretch back. You might want to check with your doctor though.

The best advice that I have found...
I am dealing with loose skin too and it is retracting (VERY SLOWLY)... This is a link to the best advice I have found...
http://www.tomvenuto.com/asktom/loose_skin_and_weight_loss.shtml
Basically he suggests lowering body fat, proper nutrition and exercise. Check out the link for details but the commitment to seeing reduction in my loose skin is MUCH longer than achieving goal weight.

I have a good friend that has lost 120lbs in over 3 years. All she does is walks and has horrible loose skin every where. I have tried to get her into strenth training and core training but so far she wont. I did talk her into seeing a trainer and he has made her see the light. She now is on her way. It is a VERY slow process from what he says but I can see results in her skin.

Good Luck
I hope Wendy's advice works for you. I have loose skin on my tummy. It's better than it once was but nothing I've tried has taken it away so far. I considered having it surgically removed at one point but now I wear it like a badge of honour. It doesn't really bother me any more.
