I'm consuming HOW MUCH SODIUM?!?!?!?
I'm new to FitClick, and like many here, I have started and stopped programs tons of times. Was I really dedicated? Na, not really. Am I now? Time will tell. I have a lot of weight I want to lose, but I'm not giving myself a strict deadline- I won't set myself up for failure again. I LOVE the diet tracker. I was not aware of how much sodium I was taking in per day! No wonder I feel bloated and retaining water. DUH! I have been tracking for 2 days now, and although a lot of people say not to weigh daily, I'm doing it. For me, it's a great way to see the "ebb and flow" of my daily fluctuations. Good Luck everyone! We are on a great journey and the pay offs can be great!!!
What is everyone doing to stay motivated? I would love to hear details, especially from people who have lost 50 lbs or more!

The scale is a good tool to show progress!
I completely disagree with people who say not to weigh yourself daily when you have a lot of weight to lose, but get an accurate scale that measures in 1/10th pounds so you can see the progress. Good luck!

scales
Thanks baystreetgirl! My scale does measure in the 1/10th pounds. It's awesome to see the number drop, even if it's half a pound! Best Wishes on your journey!!!!

Weighing Daily
I have lost 126 lbs (in 18 months) and am now maintaining (going 8 months). I weigh in every day. The trick is to not let that number drive you crazy. It is feedback from your body and can mean different things-- not just fat loss or gain but water retention, muscle changes, digestion mass, etc. Weighing in every day makes it a "non-event" and any possible gain is not shocking. Weighing in less often makes it more stressful for me because of the pressure to see results.
