I'm new here!! Looking to lose 30 pounds...After gastric bypass
I had gastric bypass surgery and lost 200lbs. After 9 years I have gained 30lbs. back and I'm trying to lose them. I have started exercising 4 days a week and drinking water intead of soda or caffinated beverages. Anyone else in my situation? I need help with motivation!! Any advice will be great!
Thanks!
Michelle

Welcome
I'm relatively new here myself. Just a couple days over a month in fact and happy to say i've lost roughly 10 lbs already. I think walking is a great exercise, Ive been walking about 6 nights a week for about 4-6 miles. I've even started jogging some as of late. I've severely reduced my soda intake, now only about 1 a day. I would try completely but I get caffeine headaches :( . I say one of the other great things you can do is make use of the diet and workout tracker, its really put things in perspective for me. I've went from eating around 3000 cals a day and being rather docile, to taking initiative, getting out, and eating roughly half that amount. I'm feeling better and more confident. I'm sure you'll shed those lbs in no time.

Hi,
No, I think you may be on track and eating right with exercise, cardio and strength training will help you.

Gastric bypass
Best of luck to you.... Gastric bypass had to be one of the major decisions in your life.... You didn't say how tall you were? Sometimes 30 lbs won't seem so much if you are tall, however, if you are short then that's a different story! Stay focused

30lbs. to lose
Yeah, caffine headaches are terrible, but only last a few days. I have lost 9lbs in just a few weeks by changing some of my eating habits and walking. I'm going to my first Zumba class this saturday...so wish me luck! Thanks for your reply! Good luck to you and let me know how you progress!
