Was in shape
So I was running up to 7 miles a day then running a chain saw all summer working for the forestry dept. But I tore my ACL 3 weeks ago and now I cant run. I just started cycling again yesterday which is great but I need to start swimming but i'm not sure how far to swim or how long to swim to get a solid 800 cal workout.

help
I am frustrated. I was trying hard to break 140 and then when I finally did I got stuck at 139. I intake about 1200 calories a day and I love water so I drink about 6 glasses a day I know we need 8! I am athletic and I just seem to get frustrated when i don't see results! I need to get down to 125 and I could use some advice

re: help
I'm in exactly the same boat. I started at 155, got down to 145 quickly in a couple weeks, and now have had to fight for every pound since. I worked with a personal trainer over the last few months, and judging from that experience I think you need to eat more calories. 1,200 calories is the bare minimum the average woman needs to just function every day. If you are working out, you need more fuel (i.e. more calories). You probably need closer to 1300-1350 calories a day to get your body moving.
