Intensity level doesn't change calories burned
Hi, I walk myself and then walk my dog. When I change the intensity level, and save/update, it doesn't alter the amount of calories burned. It seems to me that walking at a 6 or 8 intensity is going to burn many more calories than a 2 intensity walk. Between 2 dogs, 1 is old and the other is a young Jack Russell, and the Jack Russell completely wore me out this morning in 20 minutes. The old dog, we take 45 minutes and walk much more slowly, and I am not nearly as worn out when we finish. Yet the tracker doesn't allot any more calories to the more intense workout.

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.

myself & others have noticed the same...
You can visit CaloriesPerHour.com and click on “activity calculator”.

In the search box type “walk” (in your case) and then click Search.

From the list that appears below there, click on the type of walk that you want.

Enter your weight and the duration in their boxes, then click on “calculate”. Scroll down to see the activity you chose listed with the calories burned.

Doing this with variations will give you an idea of your differences in calorie expenditure. Then you can pick something similar that already exists in FitClick, or you can create your own cardio exercises in FitClick for fast walk, liesurely walk, etc.

double checked and found 2 more things...
I skipped a step above. Click on the Calories Burned Calculator tab first.

Then, instead of going to the general Activity Calculator, there's actually a Walking Calculator that's more specific!
