To tell you the truth, investing in your won house or just a house is a perfect idea. If it is yours- perfect place for living, your paradise on earth, meanwhile if you just invested in a house with no intention to live in there- it's real estate business already, you know. I've recently discovered a source where you can easily find properties to invest in as they're pretty affordable. I really appreciate the forum they provide for both experienced investor and a freshman, lol. Hope it helps! My mother used to say that investing is one of the most profitable things if you're wise and smart enough

It depends on many factors. Generally, investing in a house is a good idea but there are too many factors you need to take into account. What I do is I buy old houses, renovate them and then sell. I'm a builder and I can do this work. I have much equipment for it. Don't buy any house without investigation.
