Is slower better?
Hey everyone
I am really getting frustrated. I decided to change my eating habits to lose weight. I want it to be a lifestyle change so it will stay off. I started on 3/17 and have lost 15# ~ I would like to lose another 20 - 25.
A close friend of mine is losing weight thanks to these green tea pills? I guess they really kill your appetite. And she is losing so fast.
I am happy for her, I guess I am just jealous. As you all know, it is hard. And it just seems like the weight is flying off her.
Oh well, I'm sticking to it! With the help of all of you.

Is slower better
Yea--slower is better in everything. When you eat, eat slower. Friends have used protein drinks to lose weight faster but they gain all of it back... Losing weight at a slower pace may guarantee a continual loss.... I sometimes drink green tea and that cuts my hunger pains--I don't use sugar or sugar substitutes though!! Good luck

Slow and steady wins the race!!
True lifestyle change is better than a "pill" anytime... even if the pill is safe! Is your friend going to take a pill to kill appetite for the rest of her life? What will happen when she stops taking them?
Making smart sustainable changes are the way to go!

Slower is better
Just make sure when you start a low calorie diet you lift weights to increase lean muscle tissue, and aerobic activity to burn fat. When you loose weight 25% is lean muscle tissue leading to a slower metabolism. If you loose 2 pounds a week thats great.
