Its not a diet, it's a brand new lifestyle!!!!
Share some information about yourself and your overall fitness goals...Hi, I am 51 years old and have been like a yoyo all my life with my weight. Over the past couple of years, my weight finally became manageable. I was almost 160# 2 years ago and would tilt the scale off and on to a little over that. Then, I really don't know what happened but things turned around for me and I started losing weight. One thing I have learned is to slow down and chew your food. Enjoy and savor every bite you put in your mouth. Eat anything you want but within reason, portions are everything. when you feel satisfied, stop eating. if you are not hungry, don't eat. It is that simple, just cutting proportions, not eating just because you think you should and waiting till your body tells you, "you are hungry", really does work. I used to get mad when someone told me that. Now I understand the statement don't go on a diet but truly change your habits and nutritional lifestyle. I did and now I am 133#, my goal is 120 # and I am 5'6". I went from a size XL in shirts and 10/12 in pants to a Small and sizes 4-6. I know that I will reach my goal but want also to inspire others to follow the path, eat your favorite foods, don't deprive yourself, but don't over eat! Its better to take that bite of chocolate than to deprive and binge later on. Being happy you are not on a diet but are aware of everything you put in your mouth and knowing you are in control of your destiny on this path to get healthy and fit. We are all in this together....so lets do it!

me too!
Isn't it amazing when you finally get that message into your head! You've got it exactly right. Just tweak your daily habits to include wise food choices in proper proportions, add some exercise and watch it happen for you. I'm 48, and at one time wieghed in at 175. I'm down to 142 at the moment and still shrinking, and more importantly, I'm having a lot of fun doing it. I jsut went Friday and purchased pants in a size smaller! People ask if I'm on a diet and I'm happy to tell them no, diets are a waste of time. I do however, take every opportunity to make healthy food choices like more fruit and veggies, fewer potatoes, pasta and rice, more chicken, fish and lean cuts of beef. Added benefit is losing that bloated feeling I so often had when not making wise food choices. Hope you're enjoying your new health benefits as much as I am!!!

Lightening herbal incense can significantly decrease stress, making it ideal for use during yoga exercises and meditation.
